1ST WISE MONKEY (2013)
Based on the Japanese pictorial maxim of the three wise monkeys
depicting the well-being of having a sound mind, great speech,
and calculative actions.
Mizaru (見ざる), the first wise monkey who sees no evil,
is represented by the traditional censor bar
covering the eyes of the familiar "Smiley" ideogram -
which, in this case, is now frowning.

Kiss of Death (2014)
Created from inspiration after listening to the
album "R Plus 7" by Oneohtrix Point Never.
As much as death is macabre, the fascination with death crosses over into
the boundaries of eroticism due to our obsession with avoiding it. Taboo tales
of love will emphasize the forbidden bonds between two juxtaposed ideations,
which in turn creates unique, sympathetic sentiments. Perhaps we are obsessed
with death as a concept because it is the largest unobtainable lust one
could ever ascertain.

Prism: Pyramid - Series 1 (2012)
One of the first images I made in Photoshop CS5. After figuring out
how to utilize functions like opacities, drop shadows, and gradients, I then
combined all three into the shape of the strongest geometric structure.
Eye of Providence: Pyramid - Series 2 (2014)
The first stage evolution of Prism. The rapid spreading
of conspiracies and skepticism online were beginning to gestate into the
torrent of misinformation and memetic warfare that we
have become desensitized to in the modern day.
Abiogenesis: Pyramid - Series 3 (2015)
The last stage of the evolution of Prism.
The viability of information within the internet at this stage was near the tipping point.
The days of ould were contained within their own niche ecosystems, and the
strongest flows of information freely carried on within converging torrents of chaos.

I was pondering one day on how the basic nervous systems of insects
work and how they react to external stimuli. They can't comprehend things
like pain or hunger, but something still tells them that
these necessary synaptical "commands" are needed in order to survive.
I couldn't help but compare them to the electronic appliances
that we use on a day to day basis. If they too don't complete
their necessary commands from the input of external stimuli,
they will be discarded and can no longer survive.
